Reborn Babies

 

Reborn Baby and FAKE Baby mean the same thing...Reborning a baby is a process where a vinyl baby doll(usually, but not limited to,Berenguer,any vinyl doll can be reborn)is taken apart and meticulously worked on to bring life into it. The doll will be transformed into a life-like baby in both appearance and the weighting thus making a FAKE Baby. Each reborn artist uses their own special techniques. I strive for realism,spending many tedious hours using Genesis Heat Set Oil paints to get the most realistic skin tones including suble veining,tiny capillaries and infant mottling. I Micro root Angora Mohair 1-2 hairs in each follicle,give manicures and tear ducts...the list is endless as well as the love that goes into each of my babies.
